Currently Chris is a volunteer for CASA Jefferson. He enjoys spending time working as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children. 

Chris has served on several boards and is currently President of the Beta Xi Chapter of Theta Xi Fraternity Alumni Association and President/Founder of the Grace King High School Alumni Association. He is a member of Pi Lambda Theta Educational Honor Society and the Jefferson Federation of Teachers. 

He served on the National Board of Directors of the National Collegiate Wrestling Association as the Southwest Conference Chair. He has also served on the district level as a Unit Commissioner with the Boy Scouts of America. 

He founded and coached the only wrestling team in the history of the University of New Orleans for four years. While at UNO he served on the Faculty Senate, UNO Publications Board, the Strategic Technology Planning and Implementation Group and Student Government.
